Intercultural Learning by the Mobility of Youth Project (2008-2009)

This project was executed by YADA, The Berlin Working Group for Civic Education (bapob) and Une Terre Culturelle. It was funded by The French-German Youth Office (OFAJ). Goal was to encourage youth to think about what kind of means can be formulated for intercultural mobility of youth at local social level for progress and interaction. The first stage of the project was held in Marseille/FRANCE, and the second stage was done in Istanbul/TURKEY and the third in Berlin/GERMANY. To show the attendants what they can do with mobility projects in the future by analyzing their own social and cultural conditions and to let them get to know about common methods of education were a few of the goals. Some common methods of education such as training, simulation workshops, special pedagogic techniques, sharing experiences, visiting the similar places were used in the project. YADA sent 9 young people to the events in France, 10 young people to the events in Turkey and 9 to the ones in Germany.
